New Community Process to Find Transportation Solutions for Roxbury, Dorchester and Mattapan.

I wanted to pass along this information from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. It’s good to see that they are committed to using community based solutions to solve our transportation problems. Hope to see you there.
—————–
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will begin work this summer on a major new community-driven study to identify public transportation improvements in the areas of Roxbury, Dorchester and Mattapan that are not within walking distance of an MBTA subway station. MassDOT is currently in the process of selecting a consultant team to support this important effort.
Please join us on Monday, June 14 from 5:15 pm to 7:45 pm at the Dudley Branch Library (65 Warren Street) where prospective consultant teams will be available to meet with and answer questions from members of the community. This meeting will also serve as one of the factors in MassDOT’s consultant selection process.
