New Policies To Give Small Businesses Better Opportunities

Over the last year, I have traveled the state on a small business listening tour to hear about ways that we on Beacon Hill can help the small business community thrive. One issue that has consistently emerged is the difficulty some small businesses have in procuring state contracts. Yesterday, Governor Patrick announced a new purchasing plan for small businesses. This is great for Massachusetts and great for our small businesses as Governor Patrick continues to innovate on Beacon Hill and lead the Commonwealth into a sustained economic recovery.
