Massachusetts needs a thorough count in the coming census to make sure that we get our rightful share of federal dollars and representation. An accurate count is of vital importance because preliminary estimates show a decline in Massachusetts population that we will result in the state losing a Congressional seat. Not only would we have less representation in Congress but we would also lose an electoral vote in the next Presidential election.
