On Monday January 25th the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Business will embark on our 6th statewide listening tour, this time to Brockton, MA. We have partnered with my colleague, committee member Representative Christine Canavan who represents the Brockton area to arrange the trip. Throughout our tour thus far we have been able to provide small business owners with more information about state programs and have also learned a tremendous amount from the small business community about the challenges they are currently facing. As we have done in the past, we will take the information we obtain in Brockton back to Beacon Hill to advocate for the needs of small business owners.
At the Fuller Craft Museum (455 Oak Street in Brockton), from 2:30-4pm, we will hold a roundtable discussion with small business owners and leaders from local community development corporations. If you’re in the area please consider attending and help spread the word.
