Do you have a bike that is in need of a FREE tune up? Let the Boston Cyclists’ Union fix it for you this Friday at the Ashmont/Peabody Square Farmers’ Market!

Plan a visit to the Ashmont/Peabody Square Farmers’ Market this Friday.  Located at the new Ashmont Station Plaza (intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Ashmont Street), this annual market is open every Friday from 3-7 p.m., July 9 through October 29.  This week, the Boston Cyclists’ Union will be on hand performing routine tune-ups free of charge, and brake repairs at a nominal fee to cover the cost of parts.

While your bike is in the shop, check out breads, cookies, pastries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, apricots, blueberries, raspberries, corn, tomatoes, green & wax beans, peppers, flowers, herbs, kale, summer squash, beets, cabbage, carrots, lettuce, and radishes, fresh from local vendors including: Farmer Dave’s, Spring Brook FarmLangwater Farm, and Cedar Grove Gardens.  Also, Dorchester-themed gifts by Amy Butterworth will be available at the Dorchester Arts Collaborative booth.

Stop by to enjoy a sampling of what Dorchester is made of, and don’t forget to bring your neighbors, family and friends! Free parking is available for shoppers at ODWIN Learning Center, 1943 Dorchester Ave.  Free two-hour street parking is also  available on the Avenue.
